One of the newest additions to the restaurant scene is Verde. Verde touts themselves as a "quick-service healthy dining option" with a focus on sustainability. All of their food is served fresh in compostable bowls and whatever can be recycled is recycled. The menu is a variety of bright and healthy foods featuring local and seasonal items and handmade dressings.
With two locations, one on Coleman Blvd in Mount Pleasant and the other right downtown on King St. in Charleston, there is no reason to miss out on this fresh new place. Did I mention that they offer dine-in, take-out, delivery in the downtown area, and catering? Sounds good to me!
