Whenever new clients ask me how I've become so successful in Real Estate, my answer is simple: gossip. I've been fortunate enough to build my client base by providing my clients with exceptional service in the hopes they will gossip about my quality of service to their friends and family. One of the products of my education and entrepreneurial spirit was a Business Plan that was awarded funding by ANGEL Investors. This real estate business awarded me the 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year and an article in both the Washington Post and Wall Street Journal for a potentially "blockbusting" startup business.
My former company, Weichert Realtors Dean-Kelby, was acquired by Coldwell Banker United in June of 2008. While I was with Weichert I accomplished several goals for not only myself but for my clients as well. While with Weichert I accomplished an average Days on Market of 28 days for properties I listed and sold. My listings also sold for 99% of their listing price. I have saved clients literally hundreds of thousands of dollars in negotiations and proper advice at key decision points. I helped one client in particular save nearly $100,000 on a $400,000 home with impending foreclosure issues.
